Hello New Neighbor!
Welcome to Guadalupe Ranch Estates! We have a great neighborhood and are glad you have joined us!
Please review the Guadalupe Ranch Estates website (
https://www.grepoa.org/) for information about the GRE community, including social events, helpful links, discussion boards, important documents, etc. You will need to click on the “Register” tab at the top of the Home page to create a profile and to be included in the “Member Directory” section of the website. It is important that you keep contact information in your profile up to date because it is used to send important community updates and official notifications from the GRE Board of Directors such as information on our annual meeting.
We have many community social events where you can meet your neighbors, including many opportunities to become active in our GRE community, including committees that work to keep our parks beautiful, plan social events, approve new construction, plan for emergencies and more.
We hope you have received copies of our by-laws and covenants. If not, please access them on our web site. These rules are important because they help ensure GRE maintains property values for our homeowners who have invested in our GRE community. Our covenants cover many areas including light and noise pollution, hunting and gaining approval for construction projects (website link:
https://www.grepoa.org/info.php?pnum=14). Kerr County also places restrictions on open burning. When conditions are dry, it is prohibited. If you plan to burn, you
must first notify the Sheriff’s department at (830) 896-1133. Please be smart and do your part to prevent fires.
Finally, we would be glad to meet with you in person to answer questions regarding our community or the area. At a minimum, we need to provide a GRE tote bag to you to be displayed when visiting our community river parks to let other members know you and/or your guests are from GRE. Please contact a member listed below to schedule a time to visit and to receive your bag.
Again, welcome to our neighborhood, and please join us soon at one of our social events or down at one of our beautiful parks!
Sincerely,
R'Ev Dameron, GRE Welcome Chair
